Recently on 27th April 2013, SMK Tanjung Adang was appointed by PPDJB to host Public Speaking Competition for Johor Bahru District Level. We felt very honoured to organized that competition. Even the school was quite far from Johor Bahru town, we were very pleased to accept the presence of teachers and students from Johor Bahru area.
On that 27th April 2013, we have received in about 39 representatives from all schools in Johor Bahru district to compete in Public Speaking competition. By having only 3 English teachers to handle the program, somehow it went very well as we planned.
We would like to thank all the SMK Tanjung Adang teachers for their help in making the program went smooth and also the school admins for their support to ensure everything were fulfilled. Thank you also to Encik Mohd Nor Ismail bin Mohd Said (Penolong Pegawai Kokurikulum PPDJB) for dropping by to see the progress of the program on that day. Not forgotten, special thanks also dedicated to honourable judges
En. Zainal bin Mod Yusof (SMK Taman Universiti), Pn. Jamiah bt Zainal (SMK Taman Tun Aminah), Pn. Koh Poh Tan (SMK Taman Nusajaya), En. Chong Tuck Min (SMK Seri Perling), En. Prabhakar Menon (SMK Dato Jaafar) and Pn. Rama Praba a/p Ramdu (SMK Gelang Patah) for their willingness to judge the contestants.
The competition was ended at 2.00 p.m. and prize-giving ceremony was settled by SMK Tanjung Adang principal, Pn. Hjh. Fatimah bt Abd. Hadi, accompanied by Ustaz Abdul Monir bin Kambang (SMKTA Senior Assistant of Co-Curricular).
